Planning a group visit to UIC? We're glad you're here. We're excited to host visiting groups, campus partners, and community organizations in our dining halls. This page serves as your one-stop resource for planning your visit, including dining options, guidelines, and how to submit a group request.

What to Expect

UIC Dining Services offers an all-you-care-to-eat buffet-style dining experience at both of our residential dining halls: 605 Commons Dining Hall, and JST Cafe. Guests may enjoy a variety of freshly prepared stations, rotating menus, and inclusive options designed to meet diverse dietary needs.

Group Visit Guidelines

Group Size

UIC Dining can accommodate group visits of up to xx guests per day. Larger groups may require additional coordination and are subject to availability.

All group visits are subject to operational capacity and approval.

Advance Notice

All group visit requests must be submitted at least xx week prior to your desired visit date. Requests submitted less than xx week in advace may not be accommodated.

Payment Policy

UIC Dining is a cashless operation. We accept debit and credit card payments.

If your group intends to use an alternative form of payment, please coordiate with our team in advance and include detailed information in the request form below.

Additional Dining Locations

In addition to our residential dining halls, UIC Dining offers a variety of retail resturant locations across campus. These locations provide quick-service dining options and are ideal for smaller groups or guests who prefer individual meal purchases.

Retail locations offer a mix of national brands and campus favorites and operate during standard business hours.

Guest may pruchase meals directly at each location using debit or credit card. All locations are cashless.
