In addition to a variety of retail dining locations across campus, UIC Dining offers an all-you-care-to-eat dining experience designed to accommodate both small and large groups. Our residential dining halls feature a wide range of fresh, rotating menu options and inclusive choices to meet diverse dietary needs, making it an ideal experience for campus visits, partners, and community groups.

What to Expect
Our residential dining halls provide a welcoming and flexible dining experience for visiting groups. Guests can enjoy a variety of freshly prepared stations, rotating menus, and options that accommodate a range of dietary needs.
Both of our residential dining halls: 605 Commons Dining Hall, and JST Cafe offer a buffet style setup, allowing guests to explore different cusines and dine at their own pace in a comfortable, campus setting.
Group Visit Guidelines
Group Size
UIC Dining is able to accommodate a wide range of group sizes. Larger groups may require additional coordination with our team, as seating availability and capacity will be taken into consideration.
Advance Notice
**We request one week notice for group visits to ensure all accommodations are met. **
Please note that UIC Dining operations follow the university's academic calendar. Hours and availability may vary during summer and academic breaks.
Payment Policy
UIC Dining is a cashless operation. We accept debit card, credit card, and check payments.
We request that payments are completed prior to arrival for all group visits.
For organizations or groups requiring specific payment arrangements, such as invoicing or institutional payments, please note these details in the visit request form below so we can ensure a smooth experience.

UIC Dining offers a variety of retail resturant locations across campus. These locations provide quick-service dining options and are ideal for smaller groups or guests who prefer individual meal purchases.
Retail locations offer a mix of national brands and campus favorites and operate during standard business hours.
Guest may pruchase meals directly at each location using debit or credit card. All locations are cashless.
